Let's sober up and recognize artificial intelligence as an ill-chosen, distracting name for something more interesting and hopeful — amplified intelligence. Let's understand that as we invent and employ digital technologies, we are initiating stirring possibilities that can and should emerge through humane aspirations pursued in common across many generations.
